Keri says "Let's get a picture of the kids...they look so cute in their Easter outfits!"
Jason replies "Ok, let me move this chair out of the way."
As Jason moves the chair, Mack decides to step away, putting his ear directly in contact with the chair.
Mack "OUCH! That really hurts...for real!" Tears begin.
Keri thinks "Well, the picture may not happen now!"
Jason says "Let's get a picture of THIS!"
Keri snaps the picture:
Mack "Momma! Don't take my picture!"Jason "MACK! Your ear FELL OFF!!"
Keri snaps a picture:
Silly Daddy....saying Mack's ear fell off!

Just observe the look of compassion and empathy on Piper's face in that second picture!
This is wonderful, Keri. It reminds me so much of that commercial - I imagine it plays in your area too - where a woman is trying to take a family picture for a holiday card, and each photo has one of the kids fussing, or has the dad trying to stop one of the kids from fussing. (The commercial is for the software she uses to take the right parts of each picture and cut it into one of the "kids fussing" pictures.) Bottom line: you have a beautiful family!
