It was Mackinley's very first time ever being at a real baseball field (mine too for that matter! ha!). I wish we had the camera ready when we first stepped through the gates. His mouth dropped, his eyes widened and he said "WHOA!!!!!!". It is a gorgeous new stadium, if you haven't seen it yet.
I worked the booth for the hour before the game and the first 3 innings. It was SWELTERING hot!! But it was fun. :)
Hopefully FCI gained more awareness in addition to lots of families enjoying the game and $1 food! I know the Bakers had a good time! :)
"Where was Piper?" you ask. Well, we didn't think she would last very long at the game so she stayed home with her favorite friend and got herself her very first pedicure. :) She is VERY proud of her new pretty toes and will gladly show them off to you!
