Being American, I say "Mom" not "Mum".
A mum is a flower.
A flower that always dies when I try to plant them.
But I digress.
Today is Mother's Day (as if you didn't know!).
I know today is hard for some of us. I'm sorry. :(
This causes me to realize each year just how blessed I am to have my Mom.


She is Keetha.
She is a wife. She is a daughter. She is a sister. She is an aunt. She is a cousin. She is Kamma.
She is a friend. She is a mentor. She is a leader. She is a teacher.
She is a disciple. She loves Jesus.
She is beautiful. Her smile lights up the room.
She welcomes the unwelcome. She serves.
She visits the lonely. She clothes the naked. She feeds the hungry.
She is a chef. She is a writer. She is an encourager.
She is a Badger. She is a loyal fan. She screams at her TV. :)
She is amazing. She is my Mommy. She is a gift.


I love you, Mom. I thank God for you!
