As many of you all ready know, my beautiful wife is in India on a mission trip with Forgotten Children Worldwide. The video features Keri and her fellow team members. I'm so proud of my wife! This trip was hard for her, she didn't want to go but she's not doing it for herself. Keri is so very faithful and has such a servant's heart.
I know she misses home and everything that goes with it...and I can't wait to have her back. But right now she's helping impact the lives of women who have been made to feel lower than low, smaller than small and unloved. The woman I'm referring to are the Devadasi (aka temple prostitutes). The Devadasi live in bondage to shame, guilt, and a history of believing
they have no worth as women. There are a good many in the group they are speaking to that don't know who Jesus is. In addition, the team will also present a
seminar on the harsh reality of child trafficking and the measures that
can be taken to protect children from such an atrocity.
