SCHOOL?!

Mackinley started preschool this week. WHAT?! I feel like I just finished posting about the day he was born. Time flies by so stinkin' quickly! He has been ecstatic about beginning school. He has been preparing me, saying things like "Momma, you will miss me when I'm at school but it's ok because I'll be back!" or "Momma, you can't go with me to my class, you have to drop me off."

Needless to say, there were ZERO tears coming out of those little eyes as our baby boy went trouncing up the sidewalk to his teacher. Surprisingly, there weren't any in my eyes either! My tears came when I went to pick him up and I watched him just stand there patiently waiting for me like a little gentleman. All grown up.

What did Piper do without her brother? Well, she went on a jog with Momma & Daddy. Then we got home and what do you think she wanted to do? Take full advantage of some one-on-one time with the parental units? Ummmm no. She wanted to get cozy and watch Veggie Tales. Sigh. I officially have run out of babies.
