Ivy's Mommy, my friend Jill, says: "When we had been trying to have a baby for a few years, we decided to begin the adoption process and see how God would choose to grow our family. Only 12 days after being on the "waiting list," we were chosen by a sweet 15-year-old birthmom and 17-year-old birthdad to adopt their baby who was due in a few months. We were able to adopt Ivy the day she was born, and she has been nothing but joy to us ever since that day. We both loved the name Ivy for a first name, and we decided on Elena for her middle name, because that is her birthmom's name. Ivy was a really good baby--content almost 100% of the time! She has always been a great eater and a great sleeper (slept through the night at 8 weeks old!). She made my transition into motherhood extremely easy. She is now an awesome big sister to her little brother Israel and she has another little brother on the way. I am pleading that you pray with me for the Lord to end abortion. He loves the babies. He loves the mothers. He loves the fathers. He loves the doctors. He loves those who have already made the choice and are now living each day with the after-effects of that decision. He's waiting with open arms...run to Him!
