i {heart} surprises

One afternoon the FedEx guy pulled up in front of our house. Do you always get a little bit excited when that happens?? I do. But Jason gets FedEx deliveries quite often for his job so my excitement usually lasts about 2.7 seconds until I think "It's probably work stuff for Jason". This day was no different and that's exactly how it went down in my little brain.

I opened the door, picked up the package and came inside. I noticed the return address was Naples, FL. Well that is NOT Jason-work-stuff! I knew it had to be coming from my Grandpa and his sweet wife, Robin. It was addressed to ME...but I thought "Aww what kind of fun things are they sending the kids??" (because they happen to do that, send surprises in the mail for the munchkins...who love it, of course!).

Imagine my surprise and delight when I opened the package, found a note written to ME and also this little gem:

A beautiful pendant!!! I LOVE IT.  I get so many compliments on it, women say things like "I love your necklace! It's gorgeous and like nothing I've ever seen!" (If you look closely, you can see me wearing it in the last two outfits in this post)

I immediately sent Grandpa & Robin an email, gushing with excitement and gratitude.  Grandpa told me a good friend of theirs makes this jewelry...go CHECK IT OUT!
