The First Four Days

One of my fellow team members, Chris, is a very gifted and talented "media guy". He put this video together for Mark, his pastor (the guy doing the intro), to share with their congregation before we got home. It is a perfect snapshot of our first four days in Uganda.

What an eye-opener, Keri! What you are doing is tremendous, and a real life-changer for everyone involved. You and your team have my respect.

Oh it so takes me back to Sierra Leone and Zambia.

I saw you brush away tears in one scene, and I'm doing the same thing here at my computer screen.

The many things we take for granted here and you wonder how they survive with so little. Still, you see smiles on faces. They are all so sweet and they loved those happy songs.

Thanks for sharing. Job well done Keri. You are fourth generation of our family to go to mission field.

Oh, and I LOVE the dancing while they sang. LOVED that.

And - - - their singing still sounds like it did when I was there. Makes me want to go back - - - -

And, can you remember the sounds of the singing in Haiti? You can hear the African strain in the Haitian singing too.
