Last Sunday Mack, Piper and I participated in Forgotten Children Worldwide's Annual 5k Run/Walk.

This year the event included a "Water Walk". You could choose to carry a water jug, full or half-full with water, to help raise awareness to what many orphans have to do every single day. Some participants even did this barefoot! All 3.2 miles!

Mack finished the race with an official time of 37:36! Piper walked the whole 3.2 miles and didn't melt down until we were just yards away from the finish line. Such little athletes...they must get it from their father! :) We are very proud of them!

Since it took Piper and me an HOUR to finish...Mack had some time to hang out with his buddies.

What a fun and important event.
Love Pipe's little hat.
Why am I not surprised that Mack was so fast????
My word veri for this is cruisurs - - - which I am pronouncing cruisers and I think is very appropriate for this post!
Wonderful, Keri! A really great example to set for your children. (And the photo of Mack sitting on the curb wolfing down a hot dog with his friends is precious. Hard to be believe there was a time lunch was a little two ounce bottle of formula!)
Stay well and wonderful...
