Sick baby
Mackinley had a low grade fever Tuesday. Then Wednesday it was gone until the evening when it suddenly spiked up to 102.8, leaving the little guy with the chills. Thursday it was gone all day. Friday morning he woke up with a new high...104. So, Mackinley and I spent most of the day at his Doctor's office. They poked and prodded him. Checked his urine, ears, nose, throat, even did chest x-rays. They found nothing wrong with him. The doctor told us to come back for lab work Monday if the fever is still there, otherwise, he thought it was a virus running it's course. He told me that Mackinley may end up getting diahrrea or a rash but that the fever would then break and he would be better. Today Mackinley went all day with no fever...and he DOES have a little bit of a rash on his forehead, face, and tummy. So, hopefully, we're out of the woods now. I think we're going to stay home from church tomorrow just to be sure he's ALL better and to make sure he doesn't share his germs with the other babies in the nursery.

I'm glad MacKinley is better. I loved the serious and smiley faces!
AWW, Good to hear he's getting better! Didnt you know that you have to SMILE in every picture you take? Even if you dont want to? hehe
Is he really better today???????
Teresa's little boy, Braden, was admitted to the hospital yesterday from the ER with pneumonia - - - - - - Teresa told me this morning at church.
Papoo told me he was sick. I do hope and pray he is better. The picture of both you and Macky looks so pitiful. I can see you are feeling the pain just as he is. Bless your hearts, we're praying for you both. Grandpa JJ saw the pictures and said "Keri is such a good mother and housewife"..of course I agree!!!
He's all better today!!! Even the rash is almost gone. He's been totally normal all day.
Normal is good!!!! The ONLY "good" part about a sick child is how they want to cuddle when they aren't up to par. I can see you are SOAKING that up - - - - - as well you should.
:-)
Having a sick child is so heartbreaking, but I'd give a lot to sit with John's head resting on my shoulder again. He hasn't let me cuddle him for quite some time now. Drat!
