All buckled in and ready to set out on his very first adventure of trick or treating!!! Our friend Haley (yes, she's OUR friend...MJ cries like his heart is broken when she leaves the room! He doesn't even do that when *I* leave the room!!!) went with us, Daddy had to work.

This is all you see of Mackinley from the front seat when he's in his costume and buckled in his car seat. It struck Haley and me as VERY funny and made us laugh and giggle several times.

Haley couldn't help but try her hand at catching a pic of MJ in the back seat while she was sitting in the front seat...MJ is SOOOO over people trying this out on him!! LOL! He cries every single time! LOL we're so mean.

Our last stop for the night was Haley's house to see her Mom & Dad. Mackinley had fun there chasing their poor cats around the living room.

A package from Grammy!!

Grammy sent the kids a package that had all the goodies she had intended to deliver in person. Kaeleigh hasn't been here since we received the package so I'll have pictures of her with her presents later. Grammy always sends the cutest stuff!!! Mackinley had fun checking it all out....what does this book do??

This book is definitely Mackinley's new favorite toy. He drags it along with him wherever he goes. He loves to sit and turn the pages and look at the pictures. He even lets Momma read it to him occasionally (he doesn't like to let me have control of it LOL). Grammy, Macky told me to tell you THANK YOU for his new book!!! I hope you didn't intend that book to be for Kaeleigh...because Macky latched on to it!! LOL

The Back 40

We had some gift certificates left over from Christmas '05 (thank you Grandma & Grandpa Baker!!!!!) and decided to use them last night. We went to The Back 40 in Decatur, IN and it was SOOOOOO yummy!!! It was MJ's first time eating there. In case anyone hasn't ever been there, it's a HUGE buffet with awesome prime rib. They have a cheese bar, salad bar, homemade bread bar, soup bar, dessert bar, and then the REAL food bar. It's kind of like a Cracker Barrel, buffet style. We LOVE it!!! We had a great time, we'll definitely be doing that again!!!

Oh, and Mackinley got an awesome compliment from our waitress. She commented on how good and well behaved and quiet he was...I thought that was quite the compliment coming from someone who sees hundreds of children every day!!! We were beaming with pride for our little man.

Sleeping Beauty

I'm not quite sure how it happened, but we only managed to get two pictures of Kaeleigh this weekend while we had her (this one and the one below of story time). Look how precious and sweet she is!!! She's SUCH a great sleeper...always has been. She zonked out while watching "Bambi" on the couch Monday.

We get to have her again next weekend and I'll make a point to get more pictures of her.

Since we all had the day off work to see Grammy & Aunt Jeany, we decided to go ahead and go to Marion anyway. Mackinley immediately made best friends with Papoo when Papoo started sharing his Chunky Monkey!! Mom & Jason watched football. Korie joined us later, and we had fried chicken and cheesy potatoes for supper. We left around 8ish so Jason could get home and watch the Tigers play in the World Series.

The tension is high!!

It's kind of hard to tell, but this is a picture of Mackinley being thrown HIGH into the air by his Daddy. I think it took only 30 tries for me to finally catch MJ and not just the wall on camera. Poor kid...I'm surprised he didn't hurl! LOL
