Our roof needed replaced in a bad way. It had 2 layers of shingles and they were starting to curl and when it rained, our gutters were filled with little rocks. To save on the cost, we decided to do it ourselves. We knew it would be hard work but we knew it would also be rewarding. After seeing our neighbors homes being re-roofed by the amish crews in 2 days flat, we weren't nieve enough to think we could do it in 2 days, but we figured we would start on Thursday and be done by Saturday evening. WRONG! The guys DID start tearing the roof off Thursday...and Friday...and Saturday. Saturday evening came along and we barely had one row of shingles down. But we kept plugging away and we did finally get it done! We had great help from our friends and family....THANK YOU SO MUCH!

So - - - did you stand up like that and then bend over to nail the shingles??? I sat Indian style and hammered away - - -
Of course, the only POWER in my tools was elbow grease - - - -
Yeah I couldn't sit and use the air nailer.
Never fear, Mother, I also did plenty of hand nailing and cutting.
:-)
Dad didn't let me cut - - - he was doing some fancy style of cut, so he thought I'd mess it up.
I am sooo proud of you guys!!! Good job!!! You look really "cool" with that power tool Keri and you are lucky they would even allow you to touch it!!!!
DJ shares that "I'd mess it up" feeling like Greg has....Keri, enjoy that trust Jason has in you. Jason is one in a million!!!
