Halloween!!!

We don't get to have Kaeleigh ON Halloween so we were having a bit of a dilemma as to when we were going to be able to take the kids Trick or Treating. Then Jason's friend, Geoff, invited them to a party that his kids put together on Monday night!!! It was perfect! Here they are getting ready to head out! They were SOOO excited!!!

The Party

The kids had so much fun at the party!! Mackinley, who is usually clinging to one of us for dear life when we go somewhere new, was running all over the place like a wild child and he even kept escaping to the outside!!

Watching Sissy playing musical chairs.

Skull Island!!!!

Jason was playing with the kids one day and he said they were riding their magic carpets (blankets on the floor) to Skull Island. When they got to Skull Island, they found a cave (chairs with a blanket over them)!!! It was so cute to watch and the kids were just eating it up. What a great Daddy he is!! Then the funniest thing happened...later in the week, Kaeleigh was watching "Scooby Doo" (she's obsessed, haha) and there was an episode where the gang was on Skull Island!!!

Dancing

Both of the kids love to dance!! Kaeleigh has quite the little ballerina stance. Mackinley is more of a free style guy!! HEHE

Coloring

Kaeleigh was drawing a bridge across the driveway. Whenever Brudder would walk on it, she would say "NO! Not yet! It's not done! A few more days and it will be all done!" so he finally gave up and decided to help. His attention, of course, did not last on the bridge for long but it made for some cute pictures!

Jason's Birthday

Jason's birthday was Wed, Oct 18. I made him his favorite southwestern eggrolls (HA he only gets them on his birthday since they're kinda a pain to make!) and Kaeleigh and I made him a chocolate cake with cream cheese icing. She was a big helper and she was so proud to be helping with Daddy's birthday cake!

Sillies

Halloween Treats!!

Grandma Lisa came to visit and brought all kinds of Halloween treats with her!! Here are the kids opening up their goodie bags.
