Sausage Turnovers

1/2lb ground beef
1T finely chopped onion
4oz mozzarella cheese, cubed
1/4c prepared mustard
2 tubes large refrigerated flaky biscuits
1 egg, lightly beaten

In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add cheese and mustard; cook and stir until cheese is melted. Cool slightly.

Flatten each biscuit into a 4-in circle; place four biscuits in each of two greased 15"x10"x1" baking pans. Spoon 2 heaping tablespoons of meat mixture onto each. Place remaining biscuit circles over meat and pinch edges to seal tightly.

Brush with egg. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Changes I made to this recipe: I used sausage instead of hamburger because I don't like hamburger and I used pizza sauce instead of mustard because Jason hates mustard. The verdict? Jason told me, and I quote, "These are the best things ever."
