This past weekend, we went to Chicago for a wedding. Mackinley did GREAT on the trip. We have a DVD player in the van, and that kept him very happy and occupied the whole way there. His blanket and Dog helped, too. The trip there was a bit frustrating...the directions we had were wrong and we missed our exit and ended up going way out of our way. After 6 hours we finally arrived at our hotel!!! But the Chicago deep dish pizza from Giordano's made up for it. =)

From Sissy's big toe...to MJ napping...to Jason reading "Harry Potter"...to the beautiful skyline...our trip home was much better than our trip there as it only took us 4-1/2 hours. LOL
Immediately upon arriving home from Chicago, Jason went to pick up Kaeleigh and we headed to Hillsdale, MI, to visit family. Our first stop was to see Grandma Arsenault. Here we are with her...the kids were a bit somber as they had just been woken from naps in the car.
The highlight of our Michigan trip was easily seeing all the kids together finally. Jason's sister, Amanda, has 2 boys. Owen is 3 (1 month younger than Kaeleigh) and Chase is 16 months (2 months younger than Mackinley). Kaeleigh and Owen (or "Aiken" or "Oaken" as she called him) were inseperable and had so much fun together. Owen even gave Kaeleigh a special present. Her purse...see how many times you count it in the pictures! She doesn't let it out of her sight. We really had a wonderful trip and we thank you, Mom, for letting us crash your house again. We love you!! Also thank you, Grandma Baker, for the wonderful meal and good times at your house. We love you, too!!! And Mandy, thank you for hosting a cook out at your house...it was a great time! We love you!!
These first 3 pictures kinda show how crazy it was Monday evening with all the kids at Grandma & Grandpa Baker's. They were running like mad and going up and down the steps, throwing balls, chasing each other, screaming....just having a blast!! It was great! And they sure slept great that night, too! =)
We spent one evening at Dan & Mandy's and Owen shared his John Deere Gator!! All the kids had a blast on it...the two oldest the most. They even got pretty good at taking turns and sharing! They eventually ran the battery down. LOL
Kaeleigh and Owen had fun posing for us on the big rock. Kaeleigh really got into it and started coming up with new poses while telling Owen "Do this one!!"
