Happy Time

Hey, watch it!!

Piper is always awake and alert in the evening...until about 8:30 when she decides it's time to scream and cry for 2 hours for no apparent reason! LOL!!

Is Macky trying to give her a drink with that straw the way Papoo gives him drinks with his straw???

No it's not a straw...it's one of those things that lights up when you snap it in half. He was just being ornery and picking on her with it.

She is so sweet!

Sorry about the screaming and crying. At least you have some experience with Macky so you have a better feel for it than I did. I kept calling my Mom! She assured me that it would stop one day!

Sometimes I scream and cry at 8:30 for no reason, my husband can't figure it out either. ;)

On a more serious note, my oldest Caterpillar did that, and I had to swing him in wide arcs, it was the only thing that calmed him down. My youngest Caterpillar required a white noise. It was so odd how different they were!

Sara was the same way she always cried in the evenings it sucked cause it seemed as soon as Joe came in to relax she was crying. The drs say its colic and it starts around 3 weeks of age. Sara was 3 weeks on the nose when she started it lasted till she was about 4 1/2 months..they say the worst thing is quite. Its good to have other kids running around or have background noise.
Your kids are soooo cute and precious..
I hope I can stop a visit soon.
Love ya
MJ

I have found that if I put her in her bed and let her cry for 15 minutes, then when I go get her she's so happy to be held that she stops the screaming fit. :) She must just need some Piper time.

Keri,
Not sure if you remember this, but I found your blog a long time ago when I was searching for a cheese biscuit receipe!

I came across it today in my favorites and thought I'd come back for a visit. Congrats on your new princess. Both of your kiddos are PRECIOUS!!

Piper's looks are so adorable! I just love the way MJ is holding her head as he kisses her.

Don't all of us girls need some time to cry on our own everyone once in awhile before we're ready to move on?! lol. She's so darn cute. But screaming? Not so cute. Sorry! Hope she works it out soon. At least it doesn't sound like colic if she's able to just work it out on her own.

Reminds me, I was planning on finishing up their birthday banners this week but with vbs and guest blogging for Happy to be at Home, I haven't been able to touch them! But next week I'll be able to work on them for sure. Hope that's okay.

Yeah, Jenny, I don't think it's colic..I think she just gets MAD when she doesn't get her way! hehe!

Boosheep..I love that one too! My friend Haley gave her a pack of 5 or 6 and they're ALL super cute like that! Gotta love onesies for just hanging out at home!
