We took Mackinley to the library for the first time (don't ask me why it took this long) and he brought home 3 books about dinosaurs, 1 about an elephant named Peanut, and a dinosaur DVD. He loves the books he chose and we read them every day! His favorite is one called "When Dinosaurs Came With Everything" by Elise Broach, and I have to agree, it is an adorable story.

i love fall!!!
I remember the first time we took Hunter to the "ly-bary"...he's always loved books so he was in HEAVEN...and he cried so hard when we had to return the books that we ended up going to the bookstore to buy him a copy of his favorite one, How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight? I hope yall enjoy the books :)
I love that tree.
I'm so glad Macky is going to get to enjoy tall stacks of library books just like his mommy, auntie, and uncles did!!! LOVE those library books and outings.
Oh, I agree with Erin - "How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight" is an incredible book! (My Caterpillars loved the entire series.)
He looks so content to sit in your lap and read. :)
Beautiful color !
what a beautiful tree! yay for fall!
What a beautiful tree! I took one too of mine but its not as pretty as yours!
I love books! I hope MJ does as he grows up! LOL
MJ already loves books! He loves to be read to and he also loves to sit and "read" by himself.
We take the kids to the library every week day and they all LOVE LOVE LOVE it. We read to them everynight. It is a great thing to do with your children . I am glad you guys started this. It is fun for both the Parents and Children.
You go every day? WOW!!! We won't be going every day. We'll go every two weeks when the books are due so he can enjoy them.
I have been reading to the kids since they were babies...that is not the new thing...just the trip to the Library was new. :)
I think you've got a beautiful little family Keri. I love reading your blog when I have time. My own life and children keep my busy and I wish I could take them to the library more. I don't see how anyone could take their child to the library each day and have their books read.
