This past weekend we had our Christmas Cantata at church. Saturday we rehearsed several times, starting at 1:00 p.m. and ending with our first performance at 7:00 p.m. These WONDERFUL girls fed us!!! Brett & Kathy (their hubbies are the Choir Director and Worship Leaders at Hope, and Brett did the narrating for the cantata) laid out a delicious spread of soup, pulled pork sandwiches, chips, salad, cookies and candy. THANK YOU SO MUCH, GIRLS!!!!!

Heather and Reed (Mike & Brett's son) getting ready to play some Apples to Apples. Have you played that game? I liked it so much I've already gone out and purchased my own. :) After we ate, we just relaxed and spent time together playing games and chatting before the performance.

I had such a great time being involved in our cantata. I made new friends and I got to praise Jesus!! I'm so happy we made Hope Missionary Church our home!
