Piper's First Sunday at Church!

I posted several "Piper Firsts" today! Today was Piper's first Sunday to go to church! She of course slept the entire time! :) She looked beautiful in her new dress from Aunt Pam & Misti!

Piper's First Fifth Sunday Dinner With The Greats

We have a tradition every time there are 5 Sundays in a month. On the 5th Sunday, we meet for dinner at my Grandparent's house. Today was one of those Sundays! Grandma is very sick and it meant so much to be able to see her and visit with her and let her hold our new baby girl.

Mackinley's newest thing is posing. If you take one picture of him, he's likely to go into Vogue mode and start busting off the poses. These are all his own idea...and I have no clue where he comes up with them!!!

On this day, I thought it was adorable how he brought his chair over right beside Piper's so he could sit by her. And of course when I took the first picture, he started posing!! LOL

Big Brother Mackinley

My little man loves his baby sister SO MUCH (even though he insists her name is Reese)!!! He loves holding her, kissing & hugging her, talking to her when she cries, and helping Momma with things like throwing away her dirty diapers. I am so thankful for his tender loving heart and I am so very proud of him!!

Piper's First "Bath"

Piper's cord didn't fall off until today so her first bath had to be the sponge type. She was NOT having any part of it!! MJ had fun watching, though!

No one can resist feeling relaxed after getting clean and cozy in some fresh clothes!!

For The Love Of Trains!!

So yesterday I was bragging about Piper to my mom and also to my Grandma Jenkins. I was telling them how she only cries when she needs to eat, needs a diaper, or needs a snuggle. So of course she had to prove me wrong as soon as possible!! Yesterday afternoon she was screaming her little lungs out for 2 whole hours!! We took turns walking, bouncing, patting, etc. Then Mackinley turned on his train and she immediately stopped crying and sat and watched it!! Who knew!

First Outing

We were all feeling a bit cooped up today. So we decided to run some errands, all 4 of us! We went to the bank, the insurance place, and Wal-Mart.

Piper slept the entire time! MJ lasted until the ride home from Wal-Mart. He is in the chair as we speak, snoring, and somehow the fry that is beside him in this picture is now in his little fist!

She was sucking her thumb just hours after being born. This is the only time that she's actually been able to find her thumb and put it in her mouth, though.

Then Kamma & Papoo (my parents) came and brought big brother Mackinley!! He is so gentle and so loving with his little sister, it warms my heart!

Then later in the evening Kelly came back with his girlfriend, Cathy. And Korie and her boyfriend, Chris, came and brought a surprise visitor, Kyle!!
