5. Withholding Support or Parenting Time. Neither parenting time nor child support shall be withheld because of either parent’s failure to comply with a court order. Only the court may enter sanctions for noncompliance. A child has the right both to support and parenting time, neither of which is dependent upon the other. If there is a violation of either requirement, the remedy is to apply to the court for appropriate sanctions.
6. Enforcement of Parenting Time
A. Contempt Sanctions. Court orders regarding parenting time must be followed by both parents. Unjustified violations of any of the provisions contained in the order may subject the offender to contempt sanctions. These sanctions may include fine, imprisonment, and/or community service.
B. Injunctive Relief. Under Indiana law, a noncustodial parent who regularly pays support and is barred from parenting time by the custodial parent may file an application for an injunction to enforce parenting time under Ind. Code § 31-17-4-4.
C. Criminal Penalties. Interference with custody or visitation rights may be a crime. Ind. Code § 35-42-3-4.
D. Attorney Fees. In any court action to enforce an order granting or denying parenting time, a court may award reasonable attorney fees and expenses of litigation. A court may consider whether the parent seeking attorney fees substantially prevailed and whether the parent violating the order did so knowingly or intentionally. A court can also award attorney fees and expenses against a parent who pursues a frivolous or vexatious court action.
(Amended Sep. 10, 2007, effective Jan. 1, 2008; amended effective March 28, 2008.)

La Char & ER
Last night we went to Marion and ate at La Chareareaefdaeadfa (La Char...obviously I have no clue how to spell the ACTUAL name of the restaurant...yes, I could have Googled it but I'm lazy today!) for some yummy Mexican food!

After dinner we went to see Dad (Papoo) at work. MJ was being ornery and making it very difficult to get a picture! (Dad...I LOVE your haircut!!)
Dad was really busy so we didn't stay long at all.

Praise The Lord!
Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!
Let the Earth hear His voice.
Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!
Let the people rejoice!
Oh, come to the Father
Through Jesus, the son!
And give Him the glory,
Great things he hath done!
I love this hymn. It's one of my favorites! And all day today I have been singing it. And then I remembered that praise isn't praise if I'm not doing it in front of others! So, just pretend I'm singing this in front of you. And while you're pretending, pretend that I'm singing it with KORIE'S beautiful voice, not my dying duck voice! :) :) Good thing to Jesus I sound as good as Korie!

Red Robin! (mmmmm)
Haley and I went to Red Robin and did some shopping after we ate. But the only pictures I took were at Red Robin! But that's ok...isn't food the most important thing in life anyway?!?! :)
Haley and her Grandma's ring. I was wearing my Grandma's necklace that day, too, so we decided our Grandmas were joining us for our "girl's day out".

I forgot to share my food with you until I had this very last bite left. Take my word for it...it was DELICIOUS!! I had the BBQ Chicken wrap. And of course we ate our weight in fries! haha :) Oh, Haley turned me on to the seasoning (in the top picture)...it's awesome on the fries!
Our drinks! I forgot I had this on my phone. :) Freckled lemonade and it's DELISH! Except mine wasn't lemon...it was lime! YUMI got the kids their Easter outfits....WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THEM! :)

Please Pray
I am being falsely accused of breastfeeding Kaeleigh, and Child Protective Services has been called for an investigation. But for me, this is at the bottom of my prayer request. I am asking that you please pray for Kaeleigh. Her innocence is at stake here. She is being fed stories and lies that no 4 (almost 5) year old should EVER have to hear or imagine!! I am seriously concerned for her.
That being said, I KNOW WHO IS IN CHARGE!!! And no matter how much the enemy tries to get me down, I know that TRUTH will prevail!! Even if this situation just continues to get worse, and accusations continue to fly, I know we will be fine. We are in the hands of God and He wants to prosper us, not harm us! All of this is for His glory and for His good, even if I can't see that right now.
PLEASE pray for Kaeleigh. She is stuck in the middle of a whirlwind that has potential to harm her innocence and hurt her heart. PLEASE pray for God to lift her and hold her in His hands and shield her from the nasty things that are flying around her. She is the NUMBER ONE focus in this whole situation!!!

Events Of This "Evening"
I put Mackinley to bed at 8:30 p.m. He was laying in his bed talking, chatting, kicking his feet...normal stuff he does every night until he falls asleep. Tonight, however, this is what went on:
9:15 - "MOMMA! I YUV YOU, MOMMA!"
9:30 - I hear something but can't make it out. At this point I decide to go in to tell him to be quiet and go to sleep before he wakes up Piper. I open his door and say "Mackinley James! You need to be quiet and go to sleep!" He says "But Momma, I want a kiss and a hug!"
9:45 - "MOMMA I NEED A WIPE!!" (I ignore it) Three more times..."MOMMA I NEED A WIPE!" So, again, I open his door and before I can say anything I hear "My nose is runnin, Momma!! Bring me a wipe, PLEASE!" So I take him a tissue and tell him again..."Be quiet and go to sleep, Mackinley, IT IS LATE!"
10:00 - Again I hear noises but I don't know what he's saying, all I know is it is WAY TOO LATE to be yelling and he NEEDS to be sleeping!! So I go in there, meaning business this time. I open the door, ready to scold and I see him on his bed, on all fours, backside in the air and pointed at the door. He says "TOOT for you, Momma!!!" I of course have to laugh...who wouldn't?!?! After a giggle I explain to him that he better be quiet and go to sleep or he might get a spank!
10:30 - Finally, all is quiet.
So...everyone who has been complaining about DST and how the people who invented it don't have children...I now see where you're coming from!

Toms Shoes

Kayla posted about this on her blog and I think it's an excellent cause!!
If you already need a pair of shoes...take a look at these...for each pair you buy, a pair is donated to a needy child! They may seem expensive for what they are, but think about it as you're buying TWO pairs, one for you, one for a child who doesn't have any shoes! :)

Chicken Vegetable Soup

I recently began counting calories. So I've been very conscious about what I'm cooking. Tonight for supper, I started out with some chicken I had cooked earlier in the week in the crock pot that was all shredded and sitting in about a cup of the broth it cooked in. I thought that sounded like a great start to a soup! So....that's what it became! It was SO GOOD I wanted to share.
13 oz cooked, shredded chicken breast
2c chicken broth
16c water
3 potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 can white beans
2 cans Rotel
4c frozen mixed vegetables
2c uncooked whole wheat penne pasta
Italian Seasoning
2 Bay Leaves
Dried Basil
Dried Onion
2 cloves garlic
Garlic Powder
Salt & Pepper
I just got the chicken, water and broth boiling then added the potatoes, let them cook for a few minutes then added everything else! I was just throwing things in the pot as I found them in the cupboards or freezer. (Sorry there aren't any measurements for the spices...I really do just throw things in the pot and I have no clue how much I used. You'll just have to taste as you go and add as you see fit)
It was AWESOME!!! Mackinley ate TWO WHOLE BOWLS and Jason said "Babe, I'm pretty sure this is the best soup I've ever eaten".
The kicker?? It's only 134 calories per cup!!! You can literally pig out on this stuff and not feel guilty! The whole entire pot has like 2100 calories! (I have the exact number written down but that's in the kitchen and I'm finally sitting down today so I'm not getting up to get it. haha)
Memories
This is me and my brother Kelly on a Christmas morning many moons ago. :) He uploaded this picture to his Facebook and I STOLE it. I absolutely love it. Look how happy we are! I'm holding a sleeping bag that I got that year...I think it had Tinkerbell on it? I've always loved my brother...ok, I lied. There was a time when I was a teen and he was an adolescent that I literally wanted to KILL him. But we both grew out of that stage and I'm so proud of Kelly. He's fun to be around, he's a VERY hard worker, he's loyal, he shoots it straight. Anyway, I just love looking at this picture and remembering the fun times Kelly and I have had throughout our lives. (See where Mackinley gets his looks??)Monday, March 02, 2009
Some Thoughts About Noah
I'm reading the Bible from front to back this year. Something I've never done. Genesis was like a Soap Opera!! All the sex, adultery, incest, drunken passed out people...it made my head spin! But what really stood out to me is how God uses the least likely people. Or maybe I should say the people WE wouldn't choose with our judgmental nature. One particular story that stuck out to me is the story of Noah and his 3 sons. Noah was DRUNK and passed out NAKED in his tent. His son, Ham, saw him and told his brothers about it. His brothers, Shem & Japheth, took a garment, layed it over their shoulders and walked backward into the tent to cover their father without seeing him. When Noah awoke, he cursed Ham's son Canaan and blessed Shem & Japheth. All because they had respect enough for their father to not look at his nakedness and vulnerability. Now I know I will probably offend some people here but that is NOT what would stand out to Christians today. I think the focus would be on the fact that Noah was drunk and passed out. Genesis 6:9 says "...Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God."
I really think we as Christians need to stop and evaluate our thoughts. We can be SO judgmental. Sometimes I think maybe we focus on what "we" think is a flaw or a fault in another brother or sister in Christ, meanwhile completely missing their gifts and the parts about them that are a blessing. Let's try and remember that Jesus doesn't keep a tally of OUR sins...so why should we keep a tally of anyone's sins?
No...I don't pretend to be a preacher...these are just thoughts I felt nudged to share. :)
