For YOU, Mom!!

My Mom did a post on her blog all about Hoosier noodles. It made my mouth water for some. So guess what we had for supper?! Usually I use No Yolk noodles but because of Mom's post those weren't going to cut it tonight. I COULD have made my own homemade ones...but why do that when there are perfectly delicious Amish ones at the store?!

I did make my own chicken stock, but to be honest I doubt that I do that again. It really didn't seem to make a huge difference, for the amount of work and clean-up it required! Tonight's noodles were, however, the very best I have ever made. Mackinley had FOUR HELPINGS!!!

Mom, the whole time we were eating I thought of you and I wished I could have invited you over for supper to enjoy them with us!!

Christmas Tree Day

We put up our Christmas tree last weekend. We started out with pancakes, hung out in our comfies all day, had hot chocolate and peppermint mocha coffee, and finished our day with "The Polar Express". It was wonderful!

Wacky Hair

This past Wednesday night was "Wacky Hair" night at LiveWires. Mackinley kept saying "I'm Wacky Macky!" My friend Kara told me he could pass for a girl with his hair like that! HA

Baby Showers And Birthdays

My cousin Misti is expecting her first child and she came all the way to Indiana from Florida for a baby shower. I got to spend some extra time with her that day, which was wonderful! Especially since she's moving to Alaska soon and I don't know when I'll see her again! Love you, Misti!! Love you too, Kayla, and thanks for taking the picture of the three of us!

Jason is 33! He requested a chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and sausage gravy with biscuits. Happy Birthday, Babe! :)
