FCI 5k

Today was race day!

I have never been athletic. I never played any sports. Today I ran 5k!!! Without walking at all! My friend Ivy and I started out with this goal in May. It felt good to accomplish it!

I didn't place. I don't know my official time yet but Ivy's husband said we came in at 37 minutes. I know there might have been ONE runner behind us...haha.

We did it, though! Our goal was to FINISH without walking and we did that!

Most importantly, though, I raised $140.00 in donations for Forgotten Children, Intl!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!

I am running in a 5k race on October 11. The race is to raise money for Forgotten Children International, a ministry based at our church, Hope Missionary. This ministry is very close to my heart. I have a burden for these orphans.
