We don't have a ton of money right now, so I couldn't throw Jason the big 30th birthday party that I wanted to. So I told him to pick ANYTHING he wanted and I would make it for him for supper.

Don't feel bad - - - - we didn't go to Outback or to Fort Wayne. Korie, Keri, Jason, Macky came here and we sat around watching football and eating chicken and my "Extreme Cheesy Potatoes"

Now that Tues is here I can almost feel my "life is worth it" attitude returning but still has changed my mind about ever flying again. Kelly was right!! If it was just a wheel problem they would have a mechanic there to fix it. After reading story about Dosta airport Delta is trying to pull out of this airport. Oh well, I appreciate everyone's schedule changing and coordinating to be with everyone if only for a short while.
Just reschedule your trip and use a different airport!! It's cheaper to fly in to Indy...I thought you just didn't want to do that, or I would have suggested it to you when you called me to say your flight was cancelled.
You are right Keri, we wanted to fly to Ft. Wayne cause it's easier and I wasn't comfortable with me flying by myself from Indy but never gave it a thought about Korie picking me up until Kelly mentioned it. The problem was the Valdosta airport. I can always fly from Tally but I think next trip up we will drive. Delta refunded both my ticket and Jeany's also. It is certainly not your fault and you guys had gone to so much effort to make this such a wonderful trip for us. We will re-schedule and we will have just as much fun as we knew we would have originally. I just have enough "pollyanna" thinking in me to believe it all happened for a reason and maybe too big for us to even understand. Anyway looking forward to planning it again now.

I changed the colors AND I switched it to the new Blogger Beta. Not sure I like it, but oh well, too late now.
