My parents crack me up. Camping with them hasn't changed one bit since I was a kid. Dad decided he wanted to try Uncle Dave's way of cooking bacon...see the top picture. Mom was SURE it wouldn't work and that Dad would get too hot to be over the fire long enough for the bacon to cook and that the bacon was way too close togehter to cook evenly. Well...Dad's way worked. LOL (see the bottom picture) What shall we do with parents?!? =)

wow.....first thing I thought was what a strange way to cook bacon. But lo and behold it looks really yummy! Looks like you are having a blast with the family visiting :)
OK - - - so this was KERI'S version of the bacon story - - - - - mine would be a little different.
