New Front Door!!

Jason and his friend Brent tore the old door out and got the new door set Saturday morning.

I of course made Mackinley do the swiffering of the dust and debris after the guys were done.

Jason and I finished up installing the door, as well as installed the new screen door Sunday. We're finally DONE after putting the trim on today.

You can see the caulk drying...we'll be painting all the trim soon to cover up our little dings and pings.

The new screen door. =)

Really nice improvements. You guys must be thrilled.

Isn't it funny how kids like to help out before they know its called "work?"

Mom -

I'm so glad you commented while logged in as Kyle because I didn't even know Kyle HAD a blog!! I was trying to figure out who that was and my first guess was Kyle, but then I was thinking, Kyle would never say BEAUTIFUL and I've never heard him call Mackinley MJ. LOL

Errr Macky, not MJ. Duh

I'm not sure Kyle keeps his blog up - - - it was something he created originally as a project in his computer class at school.

I was laughing and telling the teachers at lunch today about how Macky loves to sweep and how we tease you about overworking him - - - -

Someone piped up and said, "Isn't it funny how kids love things like that until they get old enough to figure out its work!!"
