Easy Cheese Bread

Easy Cheese Bread

1 egg
1/2 c milk
2T chopped onion
2T chopped parsley
1 C shredded cheddar cheese
1-1/2c Bisquick
butter & cheese for topping

Beat milk and egg together. Add onion, parsley, and cheese. Stir until uniformly mixed. Gradually blend in Bisquick. Dough will be lumpy and very sticky. Spoon into a greased 8" round cake pan. Cover with shredded cheddar cheese and clumps of butter. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven until golden brown on top.

My Mom used to make this bread every Christmas Eve. It's my favorite. We use more than one cup of cheddar cheese, so use as much as you like! I also add 3 cloves of crushed garlic. This bread is very similar to the biscuits at Red Lobster. YUMMY!!!!

Notice the "used" to part of that sentence about her mom making this - - - - - something happened - - - - "mom" got old and tired.
