Before and After

Jason drew the flower for me, I painted it in and added the stem :) And I thought of my cousin, Misti, the whole time I was working on it! (she loves daisies)

It feels SO GOOD to be done, finally!!! I finished it up and thought "Ok, the baby can come now" and the excitement is really starting to set in!!

Room looks great! I am so glad you had a change of heart cause I would hate to see that beautiful WOOD crib painted!!!
PS Dont ever buy and old farmhouse cause you would be one of those that paint the hardwood trim!! lol Great Job

LOL Kari!! I would never paint beautiful original trim or woodwork or furniture! The crib is not anything overly expensive or fancy, and it's actually kind of dinged up. I just got sick of painting. LOL

That is gorgeous!!!! I love the colors! Your hard work has totally paid off!

Has Kaeleigh seen it yet? What does she think? I bet she can't wait for her sissy!

Thanks everyone!! :)

Allison, she saw it last weekend and it was all done except the daisy on the wall. She said "Keri, my room is BEAUTIFUL"

She asks when the baby is coming, and even Mackinley says "Momma, baby today?"

Keri --- you did an amazing job! It is absolutely adorable. What little girl would not love that room! I want to come stay in it - hee hee hee. I can see that there were hours and hours of love and labor in the project. (After helping Kel/Jon, Matt/Nat --- I appreciate the work).

Bravo to you --- Vern on HGTV better watch out b/c his job may be in jeopardy!

Aw, how sweet that she thought it was beautiful...that was very nice of her. Such sweet kids!

Kathy, you are welcome to come stay in it anytime!! If it's a Kaeleigh weekend, though, you might have to bribe her for her bed! hehehe

Keri, you are amazing! The room looks incredible! I am a total slacker and have been having trouble accomplishing anything lately. I think nesting may have set in this weekend thought because I had an urge and started cleaning my mini blinds. :)

You rock girl! You should have seen Dyan's jaw drop when I showed her the first before/after picture. I'll send you some before/after of my bathroom when I finally finish it. I'm in the reconstruction phase right now.

This was a beautiful transformation! My hubby and I purchased a forclosed on home (that had not been updated since it was built in the 1970's) - and we've had fun redoing all the rooms.

But I have two boys, so I haven't been able to do anything like this, with pretty butterflies and such! You're quite talented!

Talented Mommy!
Good Luck and can't wait to see new baby soon....

Love the transformation! I recognize the decor. I recently redid my daughter's room when we moved into our new house and it was a toss up between yours and the dragonfly dreams. I went with the dragonflies, but it was a tough call!!!
