Jason was working today so Mackinley and I documented our day with pictures so Daddy could feel like he was with us all day! Here is Mackinley enjoying his morning oatmeal.
Watching some Blue's Clues while Momma finished getting ready. We went to church with my Mom & Dad and then spent the afternoon with them.
After church and on our way to Cracker Barrel for lunch!!!

After lunch we had to stop at Wal-Mart. MJ tried on his first batting helmet!
Papoo got MJ some new track for his trains. While Papoo put the track together, MJ...
...played with this gadget of Dad's, he thinks it's a remote for the TV but it keeps time for Dad's guitar playing...
...relaxed for all of 3 seconds in his Nemo chair...
...played the trumpet, with nothing but the mouthpiece.
Then the track was done! MJ watched the trains for about 30 seconds.
So Papoo made the track bigger...
...and BIGGER! I think we 3 adults had more fun with this than MJ did. LOL
I love how he looks like he knows exactly what he's reading.
MJ wore out poor Papoo. MJ was tired, too, but Dad is the only one who got a nap. This pose lasted about 30 seconds (see a pattern here?? He would NOT sit still today)
Which is probably why it took less than 5 minutes for him to be sound asleep and snoring on the way home. We missed you, Daddy!!!!! And thank you, Kamma & Papoo, for a fun day! We love you!
