Mother's Day

We spent Mother's Day in Marion with my parents. I didn't have my camera, so I stole this picture from Mom's blog. :)

Then Monday, my boys took me out for dinner!

We LOVE Red Lobster. We happened to have a gift certificate that we had been hording and we decided Mother's Day was the perfect excuse to use it! MJ got to see a lobster up close. He kept calling it a crab. He wasn't so sure at first (as you can see in the first picture) but he warmed up and kept yelling at it "HI CRAB!". He must have thought it was hard of hearing. LOL

We had lots of yummy food and really enjoyed our time together.

Grammy...these pictures are for you!! Mackinley ate a lemon again and he still makes those funny faces you love!

My Dad (Papoo) bought this helicopter for MJ at Cracker Barrel on Sunday. It literally has not left Mackinley's side since then. He even sleeps with it! And if you ask him where he got it, he says "Papoo". The candy filled tube part broke open and he consumed the "beans" (that's what he called them) but the helicopter (he calls it an airplane) is still his best friend.

The eyes say it all in the shared drink with daddy!!!

You can see how he's pulling his hands away from "crab" he's not too sure he can trust those "long" fingers of "crab". He wanted to make sure "crab" knew he was trying to be friendly...but where's "crabs" ears???

And best of show..."fun with a lemon slice". Will never forget that first meal with Macky!!!

My, how he is growing up and still a "doll"!!!

Sweet pictures! It looks like your boys know how to treat a Mum on Mother's Day!

I especially enjoyed the look on his face when he ate the lemon!

Vickie went to the zoo with me yesterday (field trip) and she has a new little camera - - - way cheaper than mine - - - and focuses in a split second. Hmmmmmm, maybe I need to go get one of those!!! Then I too could capture cute Macky faces instead of the back of his head as he walks away TIRED of waiting for my camera to focus.
