For The Love Of Trains!!

So yesterday I was bragging about Piper to my mom and also to my Grandma Jenkins. I was telling them how she only cries when she needs to eat, needs a diaper, or needs a snuggle. So of course she had to prove me wrong as soon as possible!! Yesterday afternoon she was screaming her little lungs out for 2 whole hours!! We took turns walking, bouncing, patting, etc. Then Mackinley turned on his train and she immediately stopped crying and sat and watched it!! Who knew!

How funny.
My little Sara was a fussy baby in the evenings. They say colic starts at 3weeks and she started the day she turned 3 weeks and the first 3 nights she cried for 3 hours!! It lasted till she was about 4 1/2 months BUT she didn't cry 3 hours it was usually 20 to 40 min. The doctor said the best thing for colic is noise like static from a radio. They say slience makes the baby concentrate on the problem. Ok sorry this was so long but just had something to say :0
Take care..
Love ya
MJ

Awww, way to be a great big brother, Mackinley!

I know she can't really hold her head up, but it looks like she's staring down at the train so intently!

Greg would stop crying when riding in car (gas wasn't as expensive then)so he took several road trips. Jeany would stop when the vacuum was running, and it was placed under her bed a few times.

Whatever floats their boat!!!!

That is a darling pic of them!!

The vaccum worked for one of Joe's cousins kids she even recorded it and played it in the car. The things we do for a little one!!

Actually, Piper DOES hold her head up - - - she's a STRONG woman!!!

Keri, Lone featured our blogs (yours and mine) in a post she called something about the ramblings of an untrained mind - - - - - go check

I can't believe that poor little girl was exposed to trains before she was a week old!

But if she's the "strong woman" Keetha claims her to be, she may choose many unconventional toys as the years go by!

Piper does hold her head up, Mom is right! MJ did too when he was a newborn! But when my doctor was bringing Piper into the world, she told me I had to look and see because she was crawling out!!!

MJ and Piper inherited their amazing head holding-up abilities from their Auntie Korie. She was SOOOOOOOO skilled at this we lovingly nicknamed her our little cobra!!!!
