The walrus was AWESOME!! He came right up to the glass and really seemed to interact with the children.
Mackinley loved him!!
All the children were running back and forth and the walrus would follow them. One lady said "I think he likes that blonde boy!" Then she figured out he was our son and she told Jason "You should try to get your son separate from the other children and I bet the walrus would follow just him!" After that, we started paying more attention and the walrus did seem to really like Mackinley!! He was really cool.

It really is!! We didn't even get pictures of a lot of the cool stuff. Like the koalas!!

That was one SMART Walrus to be able to pick out the most adorable little boy in the bunch to follow!!!
The Walrus is one of my favorite exhibits at the zoo. If you lightly tap on the window, the Walrus will come over to you also, although it looks like Mackie doesn't need that trick!
I love the top picture of Mackinley and the walrus! We love visiting the zoo. Just wish ours was closer, especially with gas prices how they are.
