Requesting Prayer

The following email was received by our Associate Pastor, Matt Hartsell, and forwarded on to the congregation for prayer. This family is involved with a church that Hope Missionary supports in India. I'm passing it along further. I'm overwhelmed by the realization of how much I take for granted my freedom in this country. I can walk down the street, carrying my Bible, without the risk of being beaten and arrested!!! Please pray for this Pastor and his family.

"Hello Matt,

I kindly request you'll to please uphold our church planter Laxman Dabuji and his wife and two sons who are in police custody, as he was returning home after church service along with his wife and two sons, they were passing by a temple having Bibles in their hands immediately a group of Hindu Fanatics attacked them and accusing them stating, you have come with a bible to convert the temple priest, soon a mob of 100 people gathered at the temple, locked the pastor and his family in the temple and called the police who arrived on the scene and arressted them , his younger son by name "Shivanand" recieved heavy blows on his abdomen , he is recieving treatment in the local hospital.

FIR has been filed , we have hired a lawyer to help us get the bail, so I request you all to please pray for the safety of all our church planters and more so for Shivanand that the Lord may heal him.
