I can't believe our little Peanut is 6 months old today!!Piper's favorite things:
- her binky
- eating
- chip bags
- magazine pages
- being snuggled
Things she can do:
- army scoot/crawl
- roll over
- ALMOST sit up by herself
- grab anything in her reach
- sleep all night in HER bed
- eat 2 whole jars of baby food for supper
- inform you very loudly when she's messed her diaper
- hold her binky until she's ready for it, then put it in her own mouth
My favorite things about Piper at 6 months old:
- the way she reaches out to gently touch your face
- the way she loves to snuggle and be snuggled
- her giggle
- her "I've pooped my diaper!" yell
- the way her eyes light up when she sees her brother
- how she'll sit in her exersaucer and be completely busy and occupied for 20 minutes
- the way she looks at me when I sing to her
- that she hates green beans enough to cry after each bite but eats them anyway (with a bite of fruit thrown in for persuasion)
- her little arms reaching out to me with her hands spread out when she wants me to hold her
- her little hip swing dance move that Jason calls "the dolphin"
I could go on and on about the things I love about Piper. She has such a sweet and mellow little personality, the perfect balance to her brother! :) I think she will love princesses and pink and she'll always want to be in a frilly dress with a ribbon in her hair (if she ever GETS hair!). Her toys will always be very well loved but very well taken care of. These are just my predictions...she may very well prove me WRONG!! Everyone who sees Piper or comes in contact with her smiles, they can't help it! She has the gift of happiness.

am i dork or something? i totally cried when i read this. ha. i can't believe she's 6 months already. and i can't wait to snuggle with her tonight when i come over. i miss you guys SOOO much!
Wow. That six months flew by! She is so lovely (takes after her parents and older brother me thinks :) )

Oh, I loved snuggling with my kids when they were little. (actually I still try to snuggle with them, even though they're six and three!) Drew was a snugglebug, Alex not so much. Good job Piper on sleeping all night!

I love that you listed all this information on Piper at this age. It'll be so great for you go back and read each specific thing about her. Especially when she's a teen and acting a bit snotty. Only a BIT though because she's just to precious to ever be too unruly! lol.
Aww Baby Girl is growing up! It is bittersweet! Give her love for me! Miss you all tons! AND LOVE YOU EVEN MORE!!
I cannot believe it's been six months!
That sort of makes me nervous with my Baby Larva due in 10 weeks - and likely coming in 5 weeks.... Is she going to be that big so soon????
