Heather and I are always talking about food, cooking, eating, food....you get the picture. So we decided that every Thursday we are going to try a new recipe that niether one of us has ever made. This past Thursday was the first day. We chose homemade pasta with chicken & broccoli alfredo sauce! Here's the beginning of my pasta. The eggs ran all over the counter but I somehow managed to salvage it!
I know this doesn't look appetizing...
...but it was DELICIOUS!! Mackinley ate lots and asks for more "hosta" every day. haha! Stay tuned for this week's adventure!

Oh, that "hosta" looks soooo good!!! Isn't that fun to make something you never tried before!! Glad to know you guys are real "foodies" also.
My friendship bread from Jeany made it thru airport security but like you Keri, I had to change the recipe a bit and will have to start from scratch the next time. I used spelt rather than flour it was not as moist as Jeany's.
You are soo right they do look the same!! did MJ help make the hosta too? Chuck was all over trying to help me the "hosta". That is so cute LOL Hosta
That looks really yummy - - - dad would eat the noodles raw before you could get them into the dish.
Funny that Macky calls pasta hosta and Kyle called my hosta pasta!!!
