Parenthood

We are IN LOVE with this show. Because it was on Tuesdays and competed with "Lost" and "The Biggest Loser", we DVRed it and recently blew through the whole season in just a few evenings. It is (loosely) based on the movie of the same name from years ago with Steve Martin. It's directed by Ron Howard. Jason described one of the main characters, Adam Braverman, as being more like Steve Martin's character in "Father of the Bride". He's right on. What's so great about this show? Well, for us, we love that this family has true values and morals. The bond they have is inspiring and I'm envious of the way the siblings are so close. Adam is pretty much the glue that holds all the Bravermans together. Each family unit faces REAL parenting issues and the way they tackle those issues is more realistic than most TV shows portray. That's all I'm gonna say...I don't want to spoil anything for you. Take my advice...Netflix it, rent it, buy it, Hulu it...just watch it!
