{40 days for life} day 4 ~ Cohan Herrick

Today is Day 4 of the 40 Days for Life campaign. 24 babies have been saved!  Click here to see what these posts are all about.

Cohan's Mommy, Kayla (my spunky cousin-in-law) says:  "I'm one of those girls who ALWAYS wanted to be a mom. I couldn't wait and wanted tons of kids, so when we didn't get pregnant right away it really bothered me. It took us a year to get pregnant with our first son but I wouldn't change it because I learned so much about trusting God and being patient. My pregnancy with Cohan was uncomfortable but we were both healthy and I was so thankful for that. At 39 weeks I went into the hospital to be induced but I was already in labor and didn't even know it! The delivery was a little rough because he got stuck on my pelvic bone, but after 3 hours of consistent pushing our little man arrived. Our 7lb bundle of joy that I had dreamed about and prayed for was put on my chest for the first time.

Cohan was a really good baby but I struggled with baby blues and wasn't prepared for what my body would go through post birth and what my crazy hormones would do. That was a rough 3 weeks of my life. It's crazy to think that our bodies were designed for and can handle growing a new life. Having Cohan in our life has changed us so much for the better and I love that little boy to pieces; this world is a better place because he's in it."

I am pleading that you pray with me for the Lord to end abortion.  He loves the babies.  He loves the mothers.  He loves the fathers.  He loves the doctors.  He loves those who have already made the choice and are now living each day with the after-effects of that decision.  He's waiting with open arms...run to Him!

Proverbs 31:8 "Speak up for those who have no voice, for the justice of all who are dispossessed."
