{40 days for life} day 5 ~ Finley Harper Rae

Today is Day 5 of the 40 Days for Life campaign. 44 babies have been saved!  Click here to see what these posts are all about.

Finley's Mommy, Kayla (my spunky cousin-in-law) says:  "Our second child arrived just a few short weeks ago and we couldn't be more blessed with a beautiful, healthy daughter. Although, it took us awhile to get pregnant with our son, Finley was a pleasant surprise ;) My pregnancy with her seemed quicker and less uncomfortable. My water broke at home at 37 weeks and labor was easy and so was her delivery. She was a petite little thing weighing in at 5lbs 4oz. The first few weeks with her were tough because she has severe reflux. We didn't know that then but since she has been on meds there has been a huge improvement! I miss sleep terribly but when I look at her chubby little cheeks and she smiles at me it makes it all worth it.

Cohan is a great big brother and I feel like our little family is complete (unless God has other plans :) I look at my children and feel so blessed. Two beautiful, healthy children and they are mine?! I get the pleasure of raising them and watching them grow every day. While this is a huge commitment and some days feels overwhelming, I wouldn't change a thing. I think there's a part of every woman's heart that isn't awakened until she experiences the love of a child. Thank you God for this privilege."

I am pleading that you pray with me for the Lord to end abortion.  He loves the babies.  He loves the mothers.  He loves the fathers.  He loves the doctors.  He loves those who have already made the choice and are now living each day with the after-effects of that decision.  He's waiting with open arms...run to Him!

Proverbs 31:8 "Speak up for those who have no voice, for the justice of all who are dispossessed."
