pictorial randoms

Every Wednesday night we have Livewires. Jason and I lead the 3rd grade group as they participate in the various activities: Worship, Bible Memory, Bible Story and Prayer Time. The night this picture was taken, Jason was called in to work just as we were leaving to go to church. He showed up towards the end of the night and jumped right in, dancing during Worship. I told you he's the BEST! :)

We are still playing lots of Catan. We try to squeeze it in whenever possible. Despite the awesomeness I keep telling you about my husband...yesterday morning as he completely DESTROYED me in about 10 minutes...I looked him in the eye and said "For the first time in my life, I physically and literally have the desire to deck you in the face." True story.

Mack got this toy laptop several years ago for Christmas from Jason's Dad. All three of the kids have thoroughly enjoyed playing with it, but Piper has enjoyed it the most. She knows all her letters and I can take ZERO credit for it. It's totally the laptop. One morning she was playing with the laptop, watching "Toy Story 3" and eating leftover popcorn. Now THAT I can take credit for, I'm a hundred percent vaguely sure she's seen me doing that very thing, just replace a letter game with WoW, and "Toy Story 3" with Food Network. Mom of the Year, I am!

Due to the crazy-warm weather we've had this year, the kids have already been able to have their first trip to the playground!

Mack got sent home from school early yesterday due to having a fever of 102. Poor guy! He looked so pitiful in the fetal position on the cot in the nurse's office when I went to get him. So our weekend will probably be similar to last weekend when Piper and I were sick...lots of resting, maybe some board games (with no punching, I promise. I think.), nothing too crazy.

What are your weekend plans??

Confession I have been reading your posts but not commenting.

This weekend I may do laundry and get ready for the next work/school week. Or, I may meet up with friends for coffee and meet my extrovert needs. Bonus points for me if I can make both happen.

Settlers has the ability to make you want to punch your loved ones. Sorry I didn't mention that to you before, but glad you discovered it on your own.
Well... glad probably isn't a good word for it.
But you get my point.

Just curious - what are the little white spots all over Jason in the picture of him in uniform dancing with your Livewires?

Dandruff.
