Piper loves dandelions.
She says "They have shiny faces like the sun. They are beautiful flowers!"
But our neighborhood despises and detests dandelions.
We are the only (not exaggerating) house on our street that has dandelions.
So Daddy talked to a yard guy to come and spray them away.
Poor little Piper, she will miss the shiny faces.
But I will never forget her love for them, or the reminder that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Well if Miss Piper wants to come to my house and pick some dandelions she sure can!! My girls love them too! We won't get rid of them :)

Awww poor thing. When I was little, we used to pick dandelions and then pop the heads off with our thumb... we used to say, "mama had a baby and her head popped off." WHY??? Idk. lol Just one of those things you'll never forget!

Piper has spared dandelions from the weed category!
(Cheer up, Piper - - - dandelions come back even after being sprayed. You keep watching around the edge of the driveway and sidewalks and I bet you find MORE dandelions!)
