No Church for the Bakers Today!!

I have two sick boys today! They both have very congested sinuses and a cough. MJ also has a fever...not a bad one, just 100.7. Jason has been suffering from the chills (is there anything you can do for relief from those?? I felt so bad for him at 6:00 this morning when he was shaking uncontrollably and bundled up in lots of blankets). On the advice of my Dad, both are taking Mucinex. MJ is on Motrin for his discomforts and Jason is doing the Ibuprofen/Tylenol cycle. Poor Jason. He has been so sick this year. It's like as soon as one ailment leaves him, he has a day of reprieve before he's hit with something again!! I'm probably jinxing myself by saying this but I have been very lucky and have somehow escaped the brunt of these sicknesses. I think God does that on purpose so there is someone left to be the caregiver!! Jason and Kaeleigh's Mom decided she should probably stay home with her Mommy this weekend so she doesn't contract whatever this illness is. So we are all home and staying there until better so we don't spread this around!!

You stalk me, I'll stalk you. Deal? :)

Sorry your boys are sick! We've got the same thing going around up here and it absolutely won't stop - it's some vicious circle. Make sure you and the baby don't catch those icky cooties!!

Awww - chills are horrid! I try to huddle with a heat pack or take a warm shower. If I'm really cold I'll turn the hair dryer on and warm my clothes before getting under the covers.

My friends think my "hair-dryer-as-a-heater" obsession is wierd, though... But it works (and does wonders for carpal tunnel pain).

I hope ya'll get to feeling better soon.

I have been through this cycle myself. I finally went through the house like a crazy person washing all blankets, sheets, pillows, threw out toothbrushes, etc. If they sold Lysol bombs I would buy them. So far so good, knock on wood. Good Luck with your cootie journey!

Jason looks miserable, but Macky just looks like he's enjoying "dad" time. Whatta pose!
