new camera!!! {i'm a tad bit excited}

 We did it.  After 6 years of waiting patiently, we bought a new camera.  A real one!  Ok, ok...to all you photographers out there who are thinking "It's not DSLR so what does she mean "real"?!"...it's the most fancy schmancy camera this family has ever had!  And we love it. LOTS.  It's the Canon Powershot sx40, watch out National Geographic magazine, be on the look-out for my work! HA! Ohhh I kid, I kid.

We have been having fun getting to know our new camera:

Very first shot.  (Poor baby found out she is allergic to eye shadow when her awesome Aunt Korie gave her a makeover.  BUT she's all better now and back to normal with no more puffy eyes.)

I'm always on the look-out for photo opportunities now.  I'm gonna be the crazy lady in our small town with her camera around her neck at Walmart and Kroger and the Amoco station.
