Fairmount Wesleyan Family Camp. It's been around for YEARS...I have no clue how many and I'm not going to take a guess. I will say that my Mom mentioned on her blog that there are babies and grannies and some of the grannies used to come here as babies. So it's been around for a "while"! We spent every single summer on this campground. Junior Bible Camp, Teen Camp, and Family Camp. I haven't been back to camp since I was 19 years old. This year, I decided it was time to take MY family to camp. Wow am I glad I did. I instantly fell back in love. And I am amazed at how it's GROWING!!! I didn't expect that! It's so exciting because that just means that camp will continue to be a tradition for generations to come!
This is me and my friend Tammy. Tammy and her family have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. They're awesome people and I love them all! Isn't Tammy so cute with her baby bump?? It's her first baby! YAY!
Jason always wants to play catch with Mackinley. Alas, Mackinley only has interest for about 13 seconds. Jason's girls, however, are very happy to oblige him!
This is another LIFETIME friend of mine, Faith (you might remember her from an earlier post). We were reminiscing about our days at camp as children and teens and how we used to dream of the day when we would bring our own children to camp. It was so fun to finally do that!! Even though we aren't a part of the Wesleyan denomination, I am determined to make camp a tradition for my kids just like it was for me.

I love me some family camp. Glad to see your family enjoying it too.
Keri, I remember going to the Fairmount camp when I was in high school. We weren't Wesleyan either. Even in the 40's, it was BIG & it was exciting. Love watching the Gaither video taken at Fairmount camp & seeing Korie on that tape.
Hey! My mom and dad are in that video too. I'll have to watch it again (ugh) to see if I can find her. Were any other people in your family in it?
YAY for camping! Looking good too mama!
Deven - I don't believe anyone else from our family is on that tape...
Looks like a lot of fun! You look soooo stinking SKINNY!!!
